FEMA needs to confirm you owned the home on your application at the time of the disaster.</p>
<p>Please send a copy of <strong>one </strong>of these documents that show you owned or were responsible for your home when the disaster happened:</p>
<ul><li>The deed to your home.</li> <li>The title to your home.</li> <li>A bill of sale showing you bought your home.</li> <li>A property tax receipt or bill.</li>
<li>Mortgage documents.</li>
<li>A will with a death certificate.</li>
<li>An Affidavit of Heirship with a death certificate.</li>
<li>A signed letter from the mobile home park owner or manager, or a public official (such as state, local, tribal or territorial government official) stating you own your home.</li>
<li>A receipt for major repairs or improvements (like repairs or improvements to the roof, HVAC, or major utility items, such as a water line, well or septic).</li>
