<p>&quot;The Individuals and Households Program (IHP) may provide money to help you recover from losses under a Presidentially declared disaster. That includes things like damage to your home, car, and other personal items.</p>

<p>This program may also be able to help with other necessary expenses and serious needs caused by the disaster. FEMA assistance can't replace your insurance, but it may be able to help you start your road to recovery.</p>

<p>We have two types of assistance available:</p>

<ul><li><b>Housing Assistance</b> - This can help with temporary housing. It is for both owners, who need to repair or replace their primary homes, and for renters.</li>
<li><b>Other Needs Assistance</b> - This can help with some immediate needs when you can't live in your home. It may cover certain losses and expenses caused by the disaster. Things like personal property and vehicle losses; medical, dental, child care, moving and storage, and funeral expenses.&quot;</li></ul>
