<p>If you choose the <b>Online or Mobile Payment Option</b>, a vendor for the U.S. Treasury will contact you. You will get a 9-digit application ID on the <b>Success</b> screen after you submit your application. You must provide that number to the vendor when they contact you. Then you will choose how you want to get your money &mdash; through a paper check by mail or use another option.</p>

<p>If the vendor can't contact you with the email address you provided, or you don't respond when they try to contact you, we will mail a paper check to your mailing address on file.</p>
