By law FEMA cannot duplicate assistance available to you from other sources. If your losses are insured you must provide FEMA a copy of your Insurance settlement or denial before assistance can be considered. However, if there is a significant delay in settling your insurance claim FEMA may be able to provide some advance assistance. Any information requested of you prior to a determination being made will appear in red.
