<p><b>Update Correspondence Preferences:</b></p>

<p>This screen provides the option to change the status of your application and the language you prefer to get messages in.</p>

<p>By selecting one of the options below, this confirms the communication method you prefer to receive FEMA messages in. This includes the following:</p>

<p><b>Traditional Postal Mail:</b><br>By selecting this option, all messages from FEMA will be sent to you through the U.S. Postal Service.</p>

<p><b>Email Notification:</b><br>
By selecting this option, you will get notification of new messages from FEMA by email. If you select this option, all FEMA communications will be posted to your account. You will not get any communication by traditional postal mail. You can create an account to view your messages after you completion your application.</p>

<p>You may call the FEMA Helpline or sign in to your account at any time to change your correspondence preference. Just select <b>Preferences</b> from the <b>Correspondence</b> page.</p>

<p><b>Language Preference:</b></br>
<p>This provides the option to select the language you prefer to get messages in. The current options are English or Spanish only.</p>
