You are being referred to FEMA's Individuals and Households Program (IHP) for possible assistance.

Based on the information you provided in your application, FEMA may be able to determine your eligibility for assistance. If FEMA cannot determine your eligibility based on the information you provided an inspection of your home may be needed. If an inspection is necessary an inspector will contact you to verify your disaster related damage. It is very important that you or a co-applicant be present so the inspection can be performed.

If an inspection is needed, you may need the following information for the inspector:

Proof that you were occupying the home at the time of the disaster (such as a utility bill).

Your home ownership papers or lease agreement if you are a renter.

Your insurance policies.

If you have applied using the SSN of a dependent child in your household you must provide copies of the documents(s) that state the child is a United States citizen, non-citizen national, or qualified non-citizen.

Within 10 days following your FEMA inspection you will be notified by mail of your eligibility. If you are found eligible a check or electronic funds transfer will arrive separately.
