To be considered for FEMA assistance, a purchase contract can be provided. The purchase contract will show a binding agreement between two or more parties for legal capacity to purchase real property. This document will contain the applicant's name as
purchaser and the damaged dwelling address as the residential purchase. The date on the contract should be prior to the disaster. This document may be needed for ownership verification
