<p>Beginning with the area code, enter the phone number used at the damaged dwelling at the time of the disaster, even if the number is not currently working. If the applicant states there was no phone in the home at the time of the disaster, enter a Cell Phone or Current Phone number.</p>
<ul><li>Make a COMMENT stating that this number is not the DD phone number.</li>
<li>In the COMMENT be sure to state whether the number is for a hotel/motel or a mass shelter.</p></ul>
<p><b>Note:</b> If the applicant states that there is absolutely no phone number available, enter 111-111-1111. <b>A phone number is required for a complete registration.</b></p>

<p>If the current phone number is NOT the same as the damaged address phone number, please provide the number where the caller can be reached, beginning with the area code. Those who use a relay service such as a videophone, InnoCaption or CapTel should provide their assigned number for that service. Be aware phone calls from FEMA may come from an unidentified number.</p>
<p>If the current means of contact is through a cell phone or relay service, enter the cell number or assigned relay number here. This field accepts up to 10 numeric characters (area code plus phone number). DO NOT enter a pay phone number. <b>A current phone number is required for a complete registration.</b></p>
