Program Description

Do you need to change your address because of a disaster? Do you get medical treatment or a benefit payment from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)?

If so, you may be able to update your address or direct deposit information through the VA.gov website or over the phone.

General Program Requirements

To qualify, you must meet one of the conditions below:

  • Currently be enrolled in the VA medical system and get VA medical treatment or assistance.
  • Get a benefit payment from VA.

Application Process

You have options for changing your address at VA.
  1. Call VA at 1-877-222-VETS (8387).
  2. Change your address on VA.gov.
  3. Call your local medical center.
