    FEMA Helpline

    If you have questions about applying online, assistance offered by FEMA or accessing your online FEMA account contact FEMA’s Helpline. Representatives are available seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. ET.

    Email your question to FEMA-ContactUs@fema.dhs.gov. You will receive a response in one to two business days. 

    Call the FEMA Helpline 1-800-621-FEMA (1-800-621-3362).

    Disaster assistance applicants who have a speech disability or hearing loss and use TTY should call 1-800-462-7585.

    For those who use 711 or Video Relay Service (VRS), call 1-800-621-FEMA (1-800-621-3362).

  • FEMA Internet Help Desk

    If you need assistance with a lost or forgotten user ID, PIN or password, error message or other technical issue contact FEMA’s Internet Help Desk at 1-800-745-0243. Representatives are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

  • FEMA Disaster Recovery Center

    At a Disaster Recovery Center (DRC), survivors can meet face to face with FEMA staff to learn how they can get help after a disaster. DRCs are set up in convenient locations to make it easier for survivors to learn about the disaster assistance process or to ask questions about their application.
