Program Description
The National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) is the U.S. Department of Education's (ED's) central database for student aid. NSLDS receives data from schools, guaranty agencies, the Federal Direct Loan program, and other ED programs.
General Program Requirements
If you get Title IV loans or grants, you can use NSLDS to view and ask about your record. Please visit the NSLDS Student Access website to learn more.
Application Process
No application is necessary to view your information in NSLDS.

Hours of operation:
- 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday, or
- 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET, Saturday and Sunday; also on New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and President's Day.
- Closed on other federal holidays, the day after Thanksgiving, and December 24th.
