According to the National Interagency Fire Center, there were over 66 thousand wildfires during the 2005 season. These fires resulted in over 8.6 million acres burned.

  • Wildfire Protection and Recovery. The NRCS Plant Materials Program offers information resources and technical assistance to help prevent wildfires and revegetate burned sites.
